givesMovement ?

POS2 says this is allowed for unitAttachment, however it only seems to work if isInfrastructure is also attached ? You can have mechanized infantry tech activated to allow land units to give movemnt to each other. Is there a way to accomplish that with sea units ?

It works with Sea Units.   However, units on a transport cannot modify the transport.
'thats the way it is' makes it neither desireable nor inevitable

Hey do you know if there is a way to limit it to only giving movement to 1 unit when more than 1 is present ?  Example  Cruiser gives +1M to DD. If more than 1 DD is present can you make it give movement to only 1 ?

That's correct. The only thing you can do pairing units is 'receivesAbilityWhenWith' so that a unit can pair with another unit to give it blitz (mech inf and tanks in G40).

Cool thanks for the replies

Any idea how hard it would be to alter the mechanized infrantry tech so it would work with sea units ?  Could one just try and add sea where land is to the code or is it a bit more difficult than that ?
