sure there will be some corrections and balancings in the next updates, allways open for sugestions...

@ice, will see what i can do about the netherlands;) and will do some of the other  suggestions.

@wirkey thx for ur email with  the name corrections will do when i find the time.

also i like the idea with the sicily canal will include next time.

@axis not sure about the land lease idea but sounds interesting.

@rolf thx for creating the install readme, how does it worc on mac?

Mac OSX:  Put the .zip file in /Users/<user>/Documents/triplea/maps

just had an idea about turn order:
change to UK->ANZAC->DUTCH->FINNS->ROM
won't affect blockbuilding/unblocking, at least in most games (now it's UK-Finns->anzac-rom-dutch)

would simplify pbem games, although they might still be a mess.

Thought about changing french and yamamoto, too, but this might have some big influence in indochina

nice Changes Sieg!
1.but seems like subs defend on 2 doesnt work at least for me.
also if you buy them they are still shown as 2/1/2/6.
and im not sure if they are 2/2/2 for just 6 and a destroyer for 8, they seem to be to good.maybe chance the destroyer to 2/3/2 then?
And about the cruiser i think at the moment its nearly useless cause destroyer or now subs are the better choice, do you intent to give him transport ability back?like in trs? then i think it would be ok at this price
2. korea has no pu value is that intended?
3. hisaichi seems too be a bit too weak or russia too strong, but im not completly sure about this yet. just in all my games russia could easy defend with just 6 inf each round in the east and push everything else vs germany. And if hisaichi focus on russia china grows or the dutch stay alive. I will test it more and make suggestions then.
4. capetown should be uk from start cause in most games axis get africa even if uk builds max units in this area. think uk should be able to hold africa if they focus on this front and weaken the others.
5. neutrals in s.America seem a bit weak. the us just need to buy some units rd 1 and can take the continet very easy so its no real choice cause it doesnt mean a weaker attack vs japan. think it should slow the us a bit down if they decide to take s.America

If you want to simulate lend lease perhaps a Russian convoy zone in the North Atlantic and North Pacific.

what about combining dutch with belgium to benelux? Give them their home territories withour being capitals?
Give them Congo (a belgian colony) and place a factory there. Maybe reduce guyana to 2 PU to compensate.

Would strengthen Africa a bit, cause in the games i've seen so far most times it is lost to italy

I love the map, and the quality of work.  Here is a list of map items which need some attention and an adjustment to the Pearl Harbor setup.

***Map Territory Names***

China

- Territory name difficult to read:  "Nancheng" is positioned on the "Xining" territory.

- Territory name difficult to read: "Haixi" is positioned on the "Urumal" territory.

Australia

- Rename "Darwin" to "Perth" (closer to Perth than Darwin)
- Rename "Townsville" to "Darwin" (closer to Darwin than Townsville)

***Unit Allocation***

United States of America
U.S. Carriers were out on maneuvers when Pearl Harbor was attacked.  Adjust setup to reflect more accurate historical setup without upsetting balance.

***Pearl Harbor Setup***

Current Sea Zone 112: 2 Battleships, 1 Cruiser, 3 Aircraft Carriers
Change Sea Zone 112: 3 Battleships, 1 Cruiser, and 1 Destroyer

Add Sea Zone "Sieg 2010" (South of SZ 123): 2 Aircraft Carriers 2 Early Fighters

@niklas, Korea is correctet for the next up and the neutrals in get a little boost in south america

@wirkey,like the benelux idea, will see if i include in the later game stage.

@ready, nice input ready, will change it for the next release, like to get historic as possible.

btw, the name changes have to wait till the map is out of beta, will do them b4 upload to the depot.

thinking about south afrika beeing british, should be because of historic accuracy, but wasnt it belgian in 1939?

no it never was belgium, it has been dutch though but was in the 1500 or 1600, in 1939 it was a colonial of the british empire, yust wiki it

victory city consept

I think the map needs a victory city win condition so does seig, but he doesnt wanna think about it yet :). so i will try
reason for victory citys win option is mostly so that allies cant ignore 1 side of the map for example go europe 100%

currently the map has 38 vc's

South America:
I think 3 is way too much for it since there will be no fighting there in most games, 1 is nice to give axis an option the get there last vc maybe, i suggest Suriname

North Amerika
I think the coral harbor should be deleted, since quebek is already a big acomplishment

Oceanie
think it would be nice if wellington has 1 otherwise it looks good

Afrika
I would delete the tunis VC and place it in morroco

Azia
aleksandrowskoe vc is almost invissible
delete tashkent add it to  e-iran
+1to archangelsk
-1 to bombay

Europe
no change

VC's=36 total axis has 7 allies 25

after some rounds axis should have without much trouble 13, also victory shouldnt be too easy, so i think the number will be around 16-18, only time can tell what the number really is.

dono if allies should have a number since they probably never get as many as they start with.

think if axis doesnt have xx vc at round 15 allies are victoryious???

open to all sugestions.

would be nice if seig made the updates to the VC's in a few weeks so its easyer to get a real number and maybe someone else has some good or bad locations for vc's

i will come back to some of the ideas postet here, but first i wanna test

the beta version in depht.

so i think i will introduce new features like bundled nations  (benelux), victory citiys and stuff

after a while of testing the actual version.
