Other notifications with politics stop game going on

Is there any way to disable these "other notifications" from political actions? They just show the reaction from a player to a political offer, all that can be done is, to click ok. Despite the fact that they are a little annoying on an ffa map with a lot of players, now the game itself stops after some of these poped up and wait for the player to only click ok. Any trick would do, but I think the problem is a little more severe, when the game can´t proceed.  
We now have custom dice!

sorry, a simple check of napo ffa/ pos2  political actions text revealed the answer.

just: blabla..OTHER_NOTIFICATION_FAILURE=NONE

the game will proceed even if people don't click OK
(except that the current player who's turn it is must always click ok to proceed.  but all other players do not block the game from continuing even if they don't click ok.)

please double check this, as I have found no instances in all my testing and playing for the last year that the game has ever been blocked

(this is only for the 'ok' messages.  messages that require a choice, like yes/no, will always block the game til picked.)

yeah can confirm this, the current player in a local game vs. ai has to confirm those OKs after some of them showed up, sure if there is input required it will stop and wait, but it stops even when it is ai turn and there are about 5 of these OtherNotifications, where it is only about click OK. With setting the messages not required for anything to NONE it should be fine, thx.

well, doesn´t let me do a save when I have to click OK all the time, but maybe just launch Feudal Japan, select a clan later in turn order and see for yourself, sure my mistake not switching off those notifications, but game stops during a battle and waits for me just clicking ok.

here is a screenshot:


the light blue player is doing a battle, but it does not go on until I clicked OK. Several messages, but only OK ones, no decision required.

are you one of the players in the battle?

of course he can't continue until you click through all the messages then get to the battle window

if you aren't in the battle at all though, then we have a problem

Not an issue. In my Feudal Japan game with Rolf, Cernel, rcbarney, I routinely went afk to eat, drink, go to bathroom, etc. and come back with a million notifications about other players, some of them human and some AI, doing politics. Did not stop the game continuing. However, the game window freezes at that point, even though the actual game has progressed further. After clicking through all the OKs, the game window suddenly accelerates on super rapid speed and catches up to the point in the game where everyone else is.

i did more testing and there does seem to be an issue where a battle causes a wait for all local players

it doesn't seem to affect network players though, as network players can continue (i think)
