Can I make factions have techs in 1.0.3.0 automatically at start?

U-boat
I want to make a game for it, but, I want to have all the countries start with paratroopers. I went to the part about starting tech, but paratroopers nor any other new tech were listed. Do I have to make an entry? If so what is it?

I added the appropriate section to the attachmentList in both the AA41 and AA42 maps.  It'll be released in version 1.0.3.1


In the mean time, if you replace the current techAttachment for each country with the following, you can change the values to true for any tech you want:

                        <option name="superSub" value="false"/>
                        <option name="jetPower" value="false"/>
                        <option name="shipyards" value="false"/>
                        <option name="aARadar" value="false"/>
                        <option name="longRangeAir" value="false"/>
                        <option name="heavyBomber" value="false"/>
                        <option name="improvedArtillerySupport" value="false"/>
                        <option name="rocket" value="false"/>
                        <option name="paratroopers" value="false"/>
                        <option name="increasedFactoryProduction" value="false"/>
                        <option name="warBonds" value="false"/>
                        <option name="mechanizedInfantry" value="false"/>

with interest I read your post.

In my new map "FirstPunicWar" I have had some trubble with implating tech.
Is your post a "master list" of all availibe tech.

Im missing the upgreated destroyer I saw once ?!?

For maps, playing long time ago, the tech list is some disappointing. Tech is too modern for old fashion battle.
maybe I can fix it up with some phantasie.

I hope to see some upgrade tech on ground units some time.

Is it possible to make the "techcost" editable in game optiones ?
